I have lived all over the United States, growing up in Hawaii, New England, and North Carolina. I draw inspiration from each of these unique locations as well as Southern California, each with their own extremely distinct and unique floral types and styles. 

My love of floral design and all things creative began at a young age, but I also always felt a call to service. As a Naval Academy graduate, I commissioned as an officer and served in the Marine Corps for five years. I enjoyed my time in the military, but always felt something was missing and I had a strong desire to pursue a creative passion and become an entrepreneur. Even still, if you told me back then that almost a decade later, I was running a floral design business, I would have never believed you. 

When I am not in the studio designing, I love to enjoy the outdoors with my three guys - my wonderful husband, baby boy, and rambunctious yellow lab, Reggie. In my free time, I love hiking, traveling, and visiting the national parks with a hope to eventually visit all 63. 

what is “esprit” and where does the name come from?

Esprit means full of life, joy, & vigor. There is a unique saying in the Marine Corps, “esprit-de-corps,” which is Latin for a feeling of pride, fellowship, and common shared loyalty. Esprit Floral Co. is built on these values taking pride in each and every wedding or event, dedicated to going above and beyond the needs of our clients while bringing their unique floral visions alive.
